Shipping Policy

1. General Information

At Asalna, we proudly ship our products worldwide in accordance with internationally recognized Incoterms, ensuring flexibility and transparency for our customers. 

 

Each Wholesale shipment is coordinated individually, and shipping terms are agreed upon prior to order confirmation and dispatch.

2. Shipping Terms

We offer international shipping based on the following Incoterms 2020 definitions:

FCA (Free Carrier) – We deliver goods, cleared for export, to the carrier or another party nominated by the buyer at our premises or another agreed location in Lithuania.

FAS (Free Alongside Ship) – We place goods alongside the vessel at the agreed port of shipment. The buyer assumes all risks and costs from that point onward.

FOB (Free On Board) – We deliver the goods on board the vessel at the named port of shipment. Risk transfers to the buyer once the goods are loaded.

CIF (Cost, Insurance and Freight) – We arrange and pay for transport and insurance to the named port of destination. Risk transfers to the buyer once the goods are loaded on board the vessel.

3. Negotiated Shipping

Shipping is always negotiated in advance for each individual order. Before dispatching any goods, we will confirm:

• The selected Incoterm (FCA, FAS, FOB, or CIF)

• Delivery location or port

• Shipping method and carrier (sea, land, air, or combined)

• Estimated shipping time and cost

• Required documentation (e.g. commercial invoice, packing list, export declarations, certificates of origin)

No shipment will be initiated without prior mutual agreement in writing.

4. Delivery Times

Delivery timelines vary depending on the Incoterm chosen, destination country, and shipping method and it will be calculated and visible upon cart checkout.

After the shipping agreement for Wholesale is finalized, we will provide an estimated delivery date.

Please note: Customs clearance, import duties, and local taxes in the destination country are the responsibility of the buyer unless otherwise agreed.

5. Insurance and Risk

Under CIF, Asalna will provide minimum insurance coverage as required by Incoterms. Additional insurance may be arranged at the buyer’s request and cost.

For FCA, FAS, and FOB shipments, insurance is the responsibility of the buyer unless otherwise agreed in writing.
